mART stamping plates (031 – 039) - A collection of 9 new stamping plates with a modern design for 2023.

Metal plates for stamping are used as a stencil for transferring the design to the nail, this technology is called stamping, and to work with this technique you will need: stamping paint or gel paint , silicone stamp and stamping board .

mART stamping boards are made of high quality metal and have the correct notch depth , which will help to make a clear drawing, even the thinnest lines.

Plate size: 6*12cm

mART stamping instructions:

• Apply paint or stamping gel paint to the plate.
• Remove excess paint with a scraper. Hold the scraper at a 45 degree angle and move the scraper across the surface of the plate in a quick, steady motion.
  

Important: the pressure on the scraper should be moderate. Pressing too hard will poorly distribute the paint over the selected pattern, too weak will not remove all the excess. You can use the scraper a second time, but be aware that the paint can dry, so you need to act quickly.

• Take the stamp and in a rolling motion, without strong pressure, roll the stamp over the plate.
  

Important: The rolling motion only needs to be done once!

• Now the photo on the stamp. At this stage, you can carefully remove unnecessary details of the pattern from the stamp with a toothpick, if necessary.
  
• With a rolling motion without strong pressure, transfer the pattern from the stamp to the nail.
  

Tip: If you don't like the result, you can remove the stamping with a sticky roller (sold to remove dust and hair from clothes) and try again.

• Cover the nail with a top coat.
  

Tips from mART:

• To clean the plate and die, you will need nail polish remover and lint-free wipes, a roll of sticky tape, or tape.
• Clean the plates with lint-free wipes soaked in nail polish remover.
  
• It is better to clean the stamp with ordinary adhesive tape with the sticky side.
  

Alcohol is not suitable for cleaning plates.

• Let the plate dry after lapping, otherwise the pattern will be "floated".
  
• Plates must be cleaned from prior use.
  
• Use paint with dense pigmentation.
  
• Observe the temperature in the room so that the paint does not dry out too quickly.
