Stamping board mART No. 043 (Animal print)

mART stamping plate #043 is one of 6 new plates with a modern design for 2024.

Metal plates for stamping are used as a stencil for transferring a design onto the nail; this technology is called stamping. To work with this technique you will need: paint or gel paint for stamping , a silicone stamp and a stamping board .

mART stamping boards are made of high-quality metal and have the correct notch depth , which will help create a clear pattern, even the finest lines.

• Plate size: 6*12cm
  

Instructions for stamping mART:

• Apply paint or stamping gel paint to the plate.
• Remove excess paint with a scraper. Hold the scraper at a 45-degree angle and move the scraper across the surface of the plate in a quick, firm motion.
  

Important: the pressure on the scraper should be moderate. Pressing too hard will not distribute the paint well over the selected pattern; pressing too lightly will not remove all the excess. You can scrape a second time, but remember that the paint may dry out, so you need to act quickly.

• Take the stamp and with a rolling motion, without pressing hard, roll the stamp along the plate.
  

Important: the rolling motion only needs to be done once!

• Now the photo is put on a rubber stamp. At this stage, you can carefully remove unnecessary details of the design from the stamp with a toothpick, if necessary.
  
• Using a rolling motion without pressing hard, transfer the design from the stamp to the nail.
  

Tip: if you don't like the result, you can remove the stamping using a sticky roller (sold for removing dust and hair from clothes) and try again.

• Cover the nail with top coat.
  

Tips from mART:

• To clean the plate and stamp, you will need nail polish remover and lint-free wipes, a tape roller, or tape.
• Clean the plates with lint-free wipes soaked in nail polish remover.
  
• It is better to clean the stamp with regular tape with the sticky side.
  

Alcohol is not suitable for cleaning plates.

• Let the plate dry after lapping, otherwise the pattern will “float”.
  
• The plates must be cleaned before use.
  
• Use paint with dense pigmentation.
  
• Maintain the temperature in the room so that the paint does not dry out too quickly.
